BiographyFreddie was born in Győr, Hungary, in 1990. His dedication to music appeared quite early, as he was translating lyrics, writing poems both in English and Hungarian, but basketball played the leading role in his life. When he had to give up his promising sports career because of a serious injury, he turned to music for comfort and took up playing the guitar. Freddie’s musical breakthrough came in 2014 after his studies as hotel management specialist, as he took part in the Hungarian edition ofRising Star. Following the TV show, his first single Mary Joe was released and became a massive hit in no time. His single was the first Hungarian one since 2011 that managed to reach the first place in the Top 40 for three weeks in a row. Freddie is constantly having concerts throughout the country. Either with a live band or as a solo singer, he has become a popular artist in club life by now. On 27 February, he won the Hungarian Eurovision national final seriesA Dal with his song Pioneer with huge support by the public and the professional jury alike. After the preparations for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Freddie is going to work on his first album. He is actually the pioneer of his own life as well, as his dream is taking shape by making music. Even though he is getting more and more famous, he still is the same modest and humble man who only cares about singing his heart out to the audience.
