Junior Eurovision Song Contest – it’s a dream for every person who is singing. Therefore, it was my dream, which is coming true… E+: Tell us what your song is about. What is the thing you like the most of “Muzyka Moih Pobed” (Music of my Victories)? Did you take part in the composition? This song is about me. Me as an artist, looking at myself performing different styles of music, trying something new. And when I find myself, then I find my way in music and in life generally. Yes, I participated. Music and lyrics were written by Kirill Yermakov and Roman Kolodko, but originally the lyrics of the song were totally different, and I asked them to write words about music ,which would reflect me. E+: Will you revamp the song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest or you will keep the original version? Yes, we will revamp my song, but negligible. E+: Are you planning to release an official video for your song before Junior Eurovision? Maybe. So far, we haven’t thought about it. E+: Have you already decided about how your stage performance will look like? Yes, we have already decided. We worked hard a lot and we hope that our performance will be loved by the audience. E+: What do you expect from your upcoming experience at Junior Eurovision? What do you think it will mean for your musical career? For me the most important thing is to give joy and positivism to the audience and find new friends. My life’s dream – is to become an artist and I think that Junior Eurovision is a very good opportunity to gain experience, to show myself and my capabilities. E+: Do you usually watch the senior Eurovision? Would you like to take part in the future? Yes, I watch the senior Eurovision every year. Of course, when I grow up I want to take part there. From the 1st day, me, Gaia and our parents became very good friends. We have always supported each other. For me, Gaia is one of the most powerful junior singers in Europe. All the rehearsals before the New Wave Junior we sat together and talked and those conversations gave me some knowledge. I am very pleased that the ESC gives me the opportunity to meet this talented girl again. My family and I are really looking forward to meeting her and her parents!Miss them! E+: Tell us more about yourself, your favourite music style, favourite school subject, hobbies, musical career…. Do you play any instruments? My name is Sasha. I am 13 years old. I’m in 7th grade at the school with a musical bias. I play the accordion and piano, but few. I’m constantly singing. I am interested in all genres of music, looking for myself in them. I also like skateboarding, snowboarding, giroscootering, biking, skating. I like to play football with my friends, to swim. Every summer, me and my family like to spend time in the woods, on the lake, doing camping. We relax and have a good time there. E+: What do you feel while singing on stage? It’s too difficult for me to explain what I feel on the stage. Perhaps, this is drive and togetherness with the audience. E+: If you had the chance to sing in a duet with a famous singer, who would it be? My idol is Justin Bieber. Well, I would really want to sing in a duet with him.
